Sangram Singh, a distinguished Indian wrestler, rose to prominence when he won the WWP Commonwealth Heavyweight Championship in 2015. His victory garnered widespread recognition, including a congratulatory call from Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Parliament House. He also won the title of World's Best Professional Wrestler by World Wrestling Professionals (WWP) in 2012.
Sangram’s career began with the Delhi Police in 1999, where his passion for sports quickly became evident. By 2005, he had secured a bronze medal in the All India Police Games, representing Delhi Police at Chawla, New Delhi.
In 2016, Sangram defended and retained his championship title, defeating South African wrestler Ananzi in Port Elizabeth once again, reinforcing his status as a top-tier professional wrestler.
Beyond wrestling, Sangram Singh regularly conducts motivational talks for corporate companies and inspires young students across schools and colleges by sharing his life journey.
Sangram also featured in a music video by Mahesh Bhatt and shared his fitness insights on Raveena Tandon's television chat show, 'Simply Baatein.' His inspirational story of becoming an international wrestler was featured in Hrithik Roshan and Discovery India's television show 'HRX Heroes.'
Additionally, Sangram has walked the ramp for renowned designers like Sanjana Jon and Nitya Bajaj Birla at the Fashion Design Council of India.
Sangram launched the Champions Pro Khusti league in December 2015, played his first international match in India in 2016 to support cancer patients, and organized the first wrestling awards to honor India's wrestling heroes.
As an ambassador for the Haryana Kabaddi League and a guest of honor on International Yoga Day 2016, Sangram continues to inspire and motivate through his multifaceted engagements.
