The hottest star on the block, Sidharth Malhotra’s Bollywood debut was marked with his role in Karan Johar's teen film ‘Student of the Year’ (2012). Sidharth has been a stunning dancer besides giving noteworthy performances as an actor. Some of his dance number hits include - ‘Kala Chashma’ (Baar Baar Dekho), ‘Bandook Meri Laila’ (A Gentleman), ‘Kar Gayi Chul’ (Kapoor & Sons), and many more!

He went on to star in many commercially successful films such as the romantic comedy ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ (2014), the thriller ‘Ek Villain’ (2014), and the drama ‘Kapoor & Sons’ (2016). His role as ‘Vikram Batra’ in the war film ‘Shershaah’ (2021), earned him appreciation from fans and critics alike.

Some of his performances also include movies like ‘Brothers’ (2015), ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ (2016), ‘Ittefaq’ (2017), ‘Thank God’ (2022), to name a few. Sidharth made his OTT debut with the thriller ‘Mission Majnu’ on Netflix. Siddharth first made his screen presence through this television debut with ‘Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan’ (2009) as ‘Jaichand’.

Awards and accomplishments

Besides being a talented actor, Sidharth has been active in participating in social causes. In 2013, Sidharth collaborated with PETA for a campaign to spread awareness about dog sterilization. He participated in a stage show in Hong Kong and performed at a charity event in 2014. In August 2016, he performed in various cities of the United States for the ‘Dream Team’ 2016 tour, alongside Karan Johar, actors, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Parineeti Chopra, Katrina Kaif, and the singer Badshah.

Sidharth has frequently appeared on Times’ Most Desirable Men list. He was placed 5th in 2017, 10th in 2018, 8th in 2019 and 10th in 2020.

In 2023 he also became the sixth most searched personality on Google in India.
