Speed Painter & Performance Artist

About
This speed painter turns a blank canvas into a finished artwork in minutes, creating portraits, themed visuals, and recognisable figures live on stage. Each performance unfolds in real time, combining rapid painting with movement, humour, and theatrical timing. Elements such as fire, glitter, or gold are sometimes introduced to heighten visual impact.
Typical routines include live portraits of celebrities, public figures, or event guests, completed under strict time limits while retaining likeness and detail. For corporate functions, galas, and festivals, the artist also produces custom artworks aligned to event themes, making every show distinct.
The performer has appeared at events across Australia, Asia, the UAE, and the United States, and has painted four Australian prime ministers, along with figures such as Tiger Woods, Shane Warne, Nico Rosberg, Eric Bana, and Chris Hemsworth, all live on stage.
The artist’s background includes years of sketching commuters while working in finance, followed by a decade producing caricature art across Australia and China. In 2006, this experience evolved into a full stage show combining speed painting with comedy and visual tricks, leading to television appearances in Australia and across Asia.
Today, the act focuses on speed, accuracy, and audience involvement, as viewers watch a blank surface rapidly become a finished artwork before their eyes.
The strength of this performance lies in the combination of technical skill, speed, and theatrical presence. Each brushstroke builds anticipation and energy, drawing the audience into the creative process.
The artist engages with spectators throughout, turning the creation of art into a live spectacle that is interactive, dynamic, and visually striking. Perfect for events that want energy, creativity, and an element of surprise.
