Surveen Chawla
About
Surveen Chawla first came into the limelight with her television debut as ‘Charu’ in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kahin to Hoga’. She later went on to star in a couple of soap operas, until she made her big screen debut in regional cinema, with ‘Paramesha Panwala’ (2008), a Kannada film. She starred in a couple of regional movies like the Punjabi film ‘Dharti’, and her role in it earned her the PTC Punjabi Film Awards in the category of Best Debut Female.
She made her Bollywood debut with the movie ‘Hum Tum Shabana’ (2011). However, her career’s turning point and rise to stardom was with ‘Hate Story 2’ (2014). She received appreciation from fans and critics alike for her role.
Not just her acting talent, but her dancing skills are unmissable too! She showcased her dancing talent by participating in ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ Season 9. She did her first item number ‘Dhoka Dhoka’ in Sajid Khan's ‘Himmatwala’, followed by ‘Tuti Bole Wedding Di’ in ‘Welcome Back’.
Yet another significant talent of hers is her hosting skills. Surveen hosted the television show ‘Comedy Circus Ke SuperStars’ (2010).
Surveen made her OTT debut with ALT Balaji's web series ‘Haq Se’, and went on to star in a couple of web series, some of her notable works include her roles in ‘Sacred Games’, ‘Decoupled’, and ‘Rana Naidu’
