Talat was the first ghazal artist to release a ghazal music video ‘Tasavvur’ in 1987. A popular ghazal singer and music composer, has composed music for films as well as TV serials.
He has also acted in several movies including the film 'Dhun'. His performance in the films ‘Noor Jahan' in 2001 and ‘Fitoor’ in 2016, were widely appreciated.
In 2013, he started hosting a special radio show titled ‘Corvaan-e-Gham’ on Radio 92.7 BIG FM which was played in 45 cities all over India. He also participated in the famous TV reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ in 2012.
He released many albums such as ‘Talat Aziz live’, ‘Images A team Come True’, ‘Lehren’, ‘Ehsaas’, ‘Suroor’, ‘Saughaat’, ‘Tasavvur’, ‘Manzil’, ‘Storms’, ‘Dhadkan’, ‘Shahkaar’, ‘Mehboob’, ‘Khubsoorat’, ‘Irshaad’, ‘Khushnuma’, to name a few,
In 1987, when a video album was not even considered, the singer was the first ghazal artist to release a ghazal music video for ‘Tasavvur’. Ghazal became popular in the late 1970s and became a rage in the 1980s, with artists like Talat Aziz selling out albums in the hundreds of thousands of units.
