About
A Mechanical Engineer turned celebrated author, Durjoy Datta has emerged as one of India's most prolific writers. In 2011, after working as a marketing analyst, Durjoy decided to follow his passion for writing full-time. His literary career began in college with the release of his first novel, 'Of Course I Love You!' co-authored with Maanvi Ahuja in 2008. This debut was soon followed by a series of successful novels including 'Now That You're Rich!' (2009), 'She Broke Up, I Didn't!' (2010), and 'Ohh Yes, I Am Single!' co-written with Neeti Rustagi.
Durjoy's entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found Grapevine India Publishers in 2011, under which he published 'You Were My Crush!' in September 2011. He continued to captivate readers with 'If It's Not Forever!' (2012), 'Till the Last Breath...' (2012), 'Someone Like You' co-written with Nikita Singh (2013), 'Hold My Hand' (2013), and 'When Only Love Remains' (2014).
Beyond his novels, Durjoy Datta has made significant contributions to Indian television. His debut show 'Sadda Haq – My Life, My Choice' received widespread acclaim, winning the Youth Show–fiction category at the Zee Gold Awards in 2014 and the Indian Telly Awards in 2014 and 2015.
He has also hosted TEDx talks and conferences, sharing his insights on writing and creativity, and has written blogs for platforms like Miss Malini and That's So Gloss.

Durjoy’s accolades include being named a Young Achiever by The Times of India in 2009, and being listed among Young Achievers in Media and Communications by Whistling Woods International in 2011.
His literary excellence was further recognized with the Crossword Book Award, and Popular Choice Award, for ‘Our Impossible Love’ in 2017 and ‘The Boy Who Loved’ in 2018.
