This Bangla Band is the result of a very successful radio show ‘Goshai the singer’. This weekly midnight show transformed Saurav Chatterjee into Goshai who would sing live in every episode of this show initially.

The show created a huge following for Goshai and his songs. After the overwhelming response Saurav formed the lineup Goshai Gang with close friends. The band gained a lot of popularity for combining rock and pop influences.

The band consists of Swagato Banerjee-guitars and backing vocals, Arijit Chatterjee-bassist, Saurav Chattopadhyay-lead vocalist, Dipayan Chakraborty-drummer and percussionist and Sayantan Chatterjee-keyboard and backing vocals, some of the well known and immensely talented rock musicians of Kolkata.

The band has given many hits like ‘Raater Gaan’, ‘Ke Jaaye’, ‘Aalo Jwalo’, ‘Jontro Na Maanush’, ‘Maya’ and many more. Their latest release, ‘Aaj raat’ speaks about the fear that comes with facing the truth.
