About
Ketan Kapoor B is a natural leader and a recognized activist, he is the co-founder and principal consultant at a top consultancy services. He falls under the category of 100% Disability and is suffering from one of the rare disabilities named as Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) type III.
He is also a volunteer for Pune ‘SMART CITY’ program, India and equal opportunity for inclusive disability people. He currently serves as the Inclusion consultant to support Siemens India and work on inclusive and disability equality.
His outreach engages to give placements to more than 5000 jobseekers plus more than a dozen of companies for employee branding strategist plan as an external consultant to the companies
He also provided advanced training and motivation to employees of how to be a team member for the betterment of the organizations and overcome obstacles. He has also participated as TEDx speaker to uplift and improvise the process for inclusive disability people.
Ketan is currently in the process of designing and building an app on open source technology to offer job candidates one stop to access suitable job openings.

Ketan also serves as a member of the skill council for persons with disability (ScPwd) convened by NSDC (National Skill Disability Council), where all the initiatives are for empowering PwD (Persons with Disability) and move towards formulating local and national level strategies for shaping the future of PwD in India for both skilled and unskilled job sectors.
Among his many other achievements, he was awarded for outstanding achievements as a role model and inspiration by United Nations Academic Impact and Pune University.
He has been honored by the Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, India for empowering disabled people and helping in increasing the ratio of employment in government and private sector companies.
Ketan has received prestigious National and Global awards including the National Level award by NCPEDP for his contribution for Universal Design (UD) in India and ‘Top Global Diversity and Inclusion Leaders by World Human Resource Congress’.
