Sapan Verma, a stand-up comedian, is a co-founder of the East India Comedy (EIC), one of India’s most established comedy collectives.

He is also a part of The Ghanta Awards & Backbenchers.

He is the host, creator and executive producer of the Amazon Prime Original show, One Mic Stand.

In 2016, he released his first comedy special Obsessive Comedic Disorder on Amazon Prime Video, and appeared as a judge on Comicstaan Season 1 in 2018.

He is a writer who has scripted the IIFA Awards, Screen Awards and Filmfare Awards for celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, Ayushmann Khurrana among others.

Sapan has performed as one of the opening acts for Coldplay and Jay Z for 80,000 people at the Global Citizen Festival India and was also the headlining act of the first ever Indian comedy showcase at the prestigious Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Sapan has done over 2000 live shows all across India and also performed in the USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore and Dubai.
