The first drag artiste from India to ever feature on the ‘Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia List’, Sushant Divgikar, who is popularly known as 'Rani KoHEnur' is an actor who created history by becoming the first drag queen in India to participate in a singing reality show. He's a popular singer, performer, drag icon and reality TV star.
He made it to the top 15 of the reality competition show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ in 2018 and won the golden buzzer. The show was broadcasted on national television in 2018 - the same year the Supreme Court repealed the Section 377 law criminalising homosexuality.
He even participated in the reality show ‘Big Boss’ and has worked with most of the leading broadcasting channels, agencies and production houses, nationally and internationally.
He hosted the show ‘Atyachaar Ka Punchnama’ on UTV Bindass and has done commercials for brands like Maruti Suzuki, MTV India, Channel V India and many more brands.
Sushant was crowned as ‘Mr Gay India’ in 2014 and he is the first Indian and the first delegate from any country to have won three individual sub titles and two group sub titles at the ‘Mr Gay World 2014’ contest.
In 2018, Sushant was listed as one of GQ's ‘50 Most Influential Young Indians’ and ‘Forbes Top 100 Indian Digital Creators Power List’ in 2022.
