About

One of the top 12 contestants of Zee’s ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ in 2016, Tanvir Hussain is known for his proficiency in Qawwali, Ghazal and Sufi genres.

Tanvir impressed all the judges with his voice modulation & versatility, especially with his rendition of songs like ‘Jugni’,‘Allah Hoo’ and ‘Kinna Sona Tenu’.

A college dropout, Tanveer aims to establish himself as a Qawwali singer. He sings in Urdu, Farsi, Punjabi and Hindi.

While he is undoubtedly good at Sufi, he manages to impress the audience with Bollywood numbers too.

His voice modulation and versatility have bagged him an offer to record a song with the famous music directors, Sajid-Wajid and has won many hearts with his melodious ghazals.

His performances reflect on his understanding of contemporary Indian and music and has made him a popular choice for live shows.
