Sophie Choudry , a singer, model, VJ and TV host, rose to fame in 2002 as a VJ for MTV India and a host on the popular show ‘MTV Loveline’.
In 2003, she released her first remix album Sophie and Dr. Love. The album was a chart-topper for six months in India and broke records in the U.K Asian Pop Charts by holding the number 1 spot for 12 weeks.
In 2001 she received the UK Asian Pop Award for ‘Best Female Newcomer’, in 2004 she received the Lycra MTV Style Award for ‘Most Stylish Female in Music’ and in 2005 she received the Bollywood Music Award for ‘Best Female Pop Artist’.
She was a participant on the TV dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ 2014 on Sony TV. She has acted in Bollywood films like ‘Shootout At Wadala’, ‘Money Hai Toh Honey Hai’, ‘Shaadi No’.1, ‘Pyar Ke Side Effects’, ‘Heyy Babyy’ and many more.
She has launched a wellness company called Lifetox and developed a fitness ayurvedic tea called ‘Fittox’ and more products including Lifetox vitamins since then.
In 2016 she was appointed as the new ambassador of the ‘British Asian Trust’ ,a charity outfit founded in 2007 by Prince Charles.
Sophie has also hosted various award shows such as Star Screen Awards and several corporate events for Airtel, Tata, Godrej and many more brands.
