Capt. Raghu Raman, with his unique career spanning over a decade in the Indian Armed Forces, another decade as a CEO of three companies in the Mahindra Group & several years of experience in the Government, brings leadership lessons from the Armed Forces that can be leveraged by each one of us.
He spent over a decade serving in high-pressure environments, including the Siachen Glacier and as a UN Peacekeeper in Angola, before moving into the corporate world.
He later became the founding CEO of the National Intelligence Grid (NATGRID), one of India’s most important post-26/11 national security initiatives.
A bestselling author, strategic advisor, and leadership educator, Capt. Raghu is known for translating battlefield lessons into practical leadership insights for businesses and institutions. He has taught leadership and strategy at the prestigious School of Armoured Warfare and is associated with institutions including the 'Indian School of Business', 'Emeritus', 'National Defence College', 'Duke Corporate Education', and the 'Indian Institute of Public Administration'.

Capt. Raghu Raman has been honoured with the “Skoch Challenger Award” for his contribution to security and risk mitigation through his leadership at NATGRID. During his academic career, he received the “President of India Gold Medal” and later completed his MBA from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley.
He is also recognised as a “Distinguished Fellow” at the Observer Research Foundation and has earned multiple service commendations during his years in the Indian Army, including operational tenures at the Siachen Glacier and as a UN Peacekeeper in Angola.
