Ameesha Patel rose to fame with her acting debut in ‘Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai’ in 2000 which was a major commercial success and earned her the ‘Zee Cine Award’ for ‘Best Female Debut.’
Later, the game changer for her was the mega-blockbuster ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ which won her the ‘Filmfare Special Performance Award’.
She has also been applauded for her supporting roles in ‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ and ‘Race 2’. She recently made a career comeback by reprising her role in the sequel ‘Gadar 2’.
She has performed in a number of concerts and world tours during her career. Her first world tour; ‘The Roshans: Hrithik Live in Concert’, along with Hrithik Roshan, was performed all across India.
She has been often featured on the list as one of Bollywood's sexiest actresses and was also ranked tenth on Rediff's list of ‘2008's Sexiest Actresses’.
Ameesha was also featured on the cover of Maxim India three times, as well as other men's magazines such as The Man, FHM, and Man's World.

Ameesha has performed in a number of concerts and world tours during her career. Her first world tour; ‘The Roshans: Hrithik Live in Concert’ (2001). In 2004, she took part in a series of concerts in the world tour ‘Craze 2004’ alongside Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan and Lara Dutta. In 2005, Ameesha participated in Adnan Sami’s world tour ‘Kuch Dil Se’, that was performed across the US and Canada. Besides magnetic screen presence, Ameesha has been a part of social causes as she joined PETA for an advertising campaign which highlights the lives of captive animals in a zoo. In February 2005 she performed at the ‘HELP!’ Telethon Concert raising money for the victims of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake. Ameesha’s vivacious personality along with her experience as a performer makes for a great on-stage presence ensuring an unforgettable experience for attendees.
