Prajakta started participating in singing competitions from the age of four, she was in school when she participated in ‘Indian Idol season 1’ and rose to fame after she became the only female contestant to reach top 5.
She has lent her soulful voice to numerous hit Bollywood songs from movies like ‘Tees Maar Khan’, ‘Jaan-E-Mann’, ‘Shaadi No.1’ and many more.
She has regularly shared the stage with singer Sonu Nigam, in most of his concerts & shows, across the globe.
She impressed everyone with her songs ‘Dankila’ and ‘Teri Aankon Mein’. She has also recorded various jingles for international audiences.
Prajakta was signed by the Sony label with composer Leslie Lewis and soon released her debut solo album.
She has a knack of mesmerizing the audience with her breathtaking voice and has many years of experience in performing at live shows.
