Shibani Kashyap

Singer, composer and live performer, Shibani’s voice received unique recognition starting with the signature tune of AIR FM channel of All India Radio. She later embarked on her musical journey lending her voice to many commercials and was titled as the ‘Jingle Queen’ and soon flourished as an independent musician with her debut album ‘Ho gayi Mohabbat’. 

Shibani has been constantly creating songs as an independent artist for social causes such as ‘Alvida’ which was a tribute to 26/11 victims of Mumbai and ‘Don’t Drink and Drive’, a social message to end drunk driving. 

She is the Brand Ambassador for Yamaha Guitars and has even sung an anthem on women’s empowerment called ‘Hum Hongey Kamyab’. 

She was facilitated with the ‘Bharat Nirmaan Award’ in 2000 and ‘Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Award’ in 2018.

She has performed at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games held in Delhi in October 2010 and also recently performed at World’s largest India Day Parade to celebrate 72nd year of Independence of India at New York .

She was also a speaker at the TED Talk ‘TEDx Walled City’ held in Delhi and also judged a UAE based music reality show called ‘The One UAE’.

She is one of the rare Indian female singers who plays the guitar beautifully and is often seen performing live and ‘Unplugged’ at many concerts
