A ‘Gladrags winner’ in 1999, Shveta Salve is an extremely well known face on Indian Television. She has been very active in experimental theatre when she bagged her first television serial called ‘Jaane Kahan Mera Jigar Gaya Ji’.

Her show on UTV ‘Hip Hip Hurray’ brought her immense fame and since then she hasn’t looked back. She has become a household name in India after she worked as the lead character in some of the most popular shows on TV ‘Khamoshiyan Kab Tak’, ‘Lipstick’, ‘Kittie Party’ and ‘Sarrkkar’.

She has also worked in Bollywood movies like ‘Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi’, ‘Lanka’, ‘RamLeela’ and ‘Lanka’.

She was the runner up in the first season of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ in 2006 and has also participated in the famous reality TV show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’.

She has also appeared as host of TV sports reality series ‘Cricket Star.’

She is an anchor for one of the finest shows on entertainment news on Indian television ‘Popkorn’.

From her dusky looks to her chiselled jawline to her unapologetic truthful nature, everyone has been in awe of her. Salve made it to the top through immense hard work via the modelling, theatre, music videos route.
