A rising star in the world of stand-up comedy, Gaurav Gupta began his journey in this field by performing at local open mic nights and comedy clubs. In 2017, Gaurav made his television debut with the show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’.
The turning point in his career came when one of his stand-up comedy videos titled ‘Being Baniya’ recorded during a performance at New Delhi’s Akshara Theatre went viral garnering more than 9.8 million views. Gaurav stepped into the digital space through his OTT debut on Amazon Prime with his one-hour stand-up comedy special titled ‘Market Down Hai’ where he skillfully encapsulates years of research and personal anecdotes around the ‘Baniya Way of Life’.
He is generating notable traction with his India Tour, ‘Gaurav Gupta Live’, where he captures incidents from middle-class life while also focusing on delivering a hilariously relatable performance.
