Mohammad Faiz is an Indian playback singer who first came into the spotlight as the winner of Superstar Singer Season 2 in 2022.
Since then, he has moved from reality TV stages to packed concert venues, and today he performs across India and overseas while building his presence in Bollywood playback.
Trained from childhood under his grandfather, a classical vocalist, Faiz grew up surrounded by music.
Before winning Superstar Singer 2, he was already familiar to viewers through singing reality shows, a finalist on Love Me India Kid (2018) and first runner-up on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs (2019). On Superstar Singer 2, he was mentored by Arunita Kanjilal as part of “Arunita Ke Ajoobe” and was widely appreciated by judges and celebrity guests for his romantic singing style. He won the trophy along with prize money and an educational scholarship. Faiz has since stepped into playback and independent releases.
His track “Dekhha Tenu” from Mr. & Mrs. Mahi (2024) became a major hit, bringing him wide recognition among film music listeners. His popular releases include “Merre Liye” (2022), “Kabhi Shaam Dhale” (2023), “Tu Hi Tu” (2024), and “Matt Jaao” (2025).
He has recorded songs with Himesh Reshammiya and worked on projects with directors such as Satish Kaushik and Shad Ali. On stage, Faiz is now a regular headliner at large festivals and city concerts.
His Royal Route World Tour (20252026) took him to Australia and New Zealand, along with major shows back home including The Grub Fest in Delhi and festival performances in Assam and Umrangso.
He was also featured in a 2026 episode of Zindagi Uncut on Telly Talk, where he spoke about his journey from TV competitions to international touring.
