Geetu Mohnani
About
Move over Doctors & Engineers, Geetu Mohani is a 24-year-old girl from Bhopal who is a Coffee Expert, first Indian woman Barista Champion, cafe consultant, curator of coffee events, a coffee taster and makes a living out of it.
With a keen interest in mastering the art of different techniques of brewing coffee, Geetu jumped at the opportunity to work at a Starbucks store after finishing her Hotel Management from IHM-Goa.
Her passion for coffee craft motivated her to participate in the Starbucks Coffee Championship in 2016.
Judged on the grounds of her coffee tasting, beverage artistry & blind tasting skills, she was declared the winner of All India championship.
Geetu started her own brand “All ‘bout Coffee'' in 2019 that focuses on spreading knowledge about Indian Specialty Coffee across the world. Her growing passion for coffee has kept her involved in organising coffee events and working with farmers to improve the quality of coffee harvested.

- Starbucks Barista Championship CAP – 2017 (Second Runner Up)
- Stood 3rd at the Asia Pacific Championship in 2017.
- Participated in the World Barista Championship in Amsterdam in 2018.

With her growing love and passion for coffee, being involved in hosting coffee events, Geetu Mohnani went on to win the Starbucks National Barista Championship becoming a star in her own way. Working with farmers to improve coffee harvest quality and developing championship competitions for skilled baristas Geetu’s approach is to personalise the customer’s overall coffee experience. From being a small-town girl to being flown to Seattle, and also meeting ex-CEO of Starbucks Howard Schultz, Geetu has charted her own journey, that too off the beaten path.
