Pratap Faujdar is a comedian, a poet and an engineer by profession who came into the limelight after making it to the Top 5 in Star One's ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ in 2006.
Since then, he has participated in various comedy shows, including Sony TV's ‘Comedy Circus’ & India TV's ‘Just Laugh Baki Maaf’.
A member of Hasya Kavi Sammelan, Faujdar’s jokes mainly focus on political satire and social issues based on his daily life experiences.
An engineer by profession, he is also the owner of an automobile components factory.
He often participates in various ‘Hasya Kavi Sammelan’ gatherings & has been mentored by the renowned poet Ashok Chakradhar.

Having done over 1200+ shows, Pratap has the experience to light up any occasion with his humor. Pratap’s performance in the Indian television ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ left the judges Navjot Singh Sidhu and Shekhar Suman highly impressed.
He is currently the main host of the show Laughter Ke Sarpanch on Sony Entertainment TV.

He has also performed at various cultural youth festivals and participated in multiple Hasya Kavi Sammelan events in India and abroad. He has also anchored a number of shows for Harbhajan Singh Mann, Sukhwinder, Jassi, and later some Mumbai film artists.
