Jay Bhanushali’s claim to fame is his lead role in the TV soap opera ‘Kayamath’ on Star Plus. He received many awards like the ‘Indian Telly Award’ for ‘Fresh New Face’ and ‘Best Actor’ in a supporting role for his performance.
In 2009, he hosted the TV reality show ‘Dance India Dance’ and garnered immense praise for his anchoring skills and comic timing. He won the ’Boroplus Gold Award for Best Anchor’ in 2010 and 2012 and Zee Rishtey Award for ‘Favourite Host’ in 2009 and 2011.
In 2009 he participated in the TV dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhla Ja’ and in 2013, he and his wife participated in and won the dance competition show ’Nach Baliye’.
Jay made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with ‘Hate Story 2’, followed by ‘Desi Kattey’ in 2014 and ‘Ek Paheli Leela’ in 2015.
In 2019, he was a contestant in ‘Kitchen Champion 5’ and later even hosted the show ‘Superstar Singer’. In 2020, he participated in ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ and claimed the 6th position.
