A model and VJ who rose to fame after his role in the Bollywood movie ‘Rock On’.


One of the most popular VJs of the 90s, Purab Kohli swooned the hearts of millions with his charm in TV series ‘Hip Hip Hurray’. He is a well-known  actor, model and former video jockey.

He has starred in several critically acclaimed movies including ‘Vaastu Shastra’, ‘My Brother Nikhil’, ‘Bas Ek Pal’, ‘Airlift’ and ‘Jal’. His performance in ‘Rock On’ won him a ‘Filmfare Special Jury Award’ in 2008.

He made his big-budget Hollywood debut by playing the role of a game developer in ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ and was even part of theAmerican sci-fi series 'Sense 8'.

The much celebrated anchor of Zee TV's ‘Saregamapa Singing Superstar’, Purab has hosted a number of shows including ‘Gone India’, ‘Life Mein Ek Baar’ and Nat Geo's ‘Terra Quiz’.

He was part of the Hotstar web seriesOut of Love’ and ‘Typewriter, which streamed on Netflix in 2019.

Purab has been a part of the industry for 24 years and has won millions of hearts in Bollywood and Hollywood. He has dabbled in television, OTT and has acted in Hollywood movies too. His hardwork and determination has helped him gain immense success and recognition.
