Known for his spontaneity & sense of humor, Riteish Deshmukh initially shot to fame with the movie 'Masti' in 2005, for which he won the ‘Zee Cine Award’ for ‘Best Performance in a Comic Role’. Riteish made his debut with the 2003 romance, ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’, and since then he has worked in several successful films most of them known for his witty and comic roles, some of which include - Masti (2004), ‘Kyaa Kool Hai Hum (2005)’, ‘Malamaal Weekly (2006)’, and ‘Dhamaal (2007)’, to name a few. However, his acting skills weren’t just limited to comic roles as he proved his versatility with his serial killer role in the critically acclaimed romantic thriller ‘Ek Villain (2014)’.
Riteish’s talent has also left a mark in the Marathi cinema where he made his debut as a producer with ‘Balak-Palak (2013)’, his acting debut with the action film ‘Lai Bhaari (2014)’, and his directorial debut with ‘Ved (2022)’.
Not just a versatile actor, Riteish’s comic timing, and humorous style have made him a favorite pick to host award shows as well. He has hosted four seasons of the prestigious ‘IIFA Awards’, co-hosted the talk show ‘Yaadon Ki Baaraat’, and made his web debut in 2021, co-hosting ‘Ladies vs Gentlemen’ with Genelia D'souza
