About
Sanam, a pop rock band, is known for being amongst India’s top 10 independent YouTube channels, India’s biggest music artist on the digital platform and the fastest growing YouTube channel in the country.
The band’s vocalist, Sanam Puri, is the voice behind songs like ‘Dhat Tere Ki’ from ‘Gori Tere Pyar Mein’ and ‘Ishq Bulava’ from ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’.
Once the band started rehashing iconic songs like ‘Lag Ja Gale’ it made them the musical heartthrobs of the nation.
In 2014, the band composed its first original composition ‘Main Hoon’ for the Hollywood blockbuster ‘The Amazing Spiderman 2’.
The band performed at the VMY Music Festival in 2015 that commemorated the 50th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Maldives.
The band was awarded the ‘Best Music Content Creator’ at the ‘Social Media Summit and Awards’ in 2017.
SANAM struck a chord with the audience with their melodious rehashes of older songs and several musical covers. Owing to their wide popularity on digital platforms, the band has also gained immense recognition in the live event circuit.
