From a Biomedical Sciences graduate to an acclaimed actor-writer-director & comedian across film, television, and theatre, Ojas Rawal is a prominent personality in Gujarati cinema. Ojas’s breakthrough performance as ‘Montu’ in the Gujarati comedy-drama ‘Polam Pol’ garnered widespread acclaim. His other notable films include ‘Chandlo’, 'Chor Bani Thangaat Kare,' and 'Ventilator,' where he starred alongside industry stalwarts like Jackie Shroff.
Despite earning his degree from USF in 2008, Ojas found his true calling in the performing arts, propelled by his passion for storytelling. His foray into acting was marked by diverse experiences, from assisting Bollywood director Kundan Shah to writing for television and performing stand-up comedy at The Comedy Factory. As a stand-up comedian, Ojas transcends language barriers, delighting audiences in Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi, and English across the globe. He has also collaborated with comedy legends like Johnny Lever and Raju Srivastav.
His Bollywood ventures include prominent roles in ‘Rashmi Rocket’ alongside Taapsee Pannu and ‘Made In China’ featuring Rajkumar Rao, Paresh Rawal, Boman Irani, and Mouni Roy. His contributions to television serials like ‘Ladies Special’, ‘Sargam Ki Sadhe Saati’, and ‘Anandi Baa Aur Emily’ have earned him global recognition.
Beyond the silver screen, Ojas made his mark on television with appearances in popular shows like 'Sargam Ki Sadhe Saati' and 'Wagle Ki Duniya.' Ojas has expanded his horizons further by venturing into international projects, including the biopic 'Minus One Dollar' and the thriller 'Ghulaam Chor.'
