About
Arunita Kanjilal is a gifted Indian vocalist from West Bengal, who made history as the youngest Indian to perform at the Wembley SSE Arena in London at the age of 18. She gained immense popularity during her stint in ‘Indian Idol’ Season 12, where she finished as the first runner-up. Arunita has performed live both nationally and internationally. She has also performed alongside popular singers like Shaan.
In 2013, at the tender age of 10, Arunita's musical journey began when she participated in Zee Bangla’s ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs’. Her impressive performances won her the competition, earning praise from esteemed judges, including the Maha Guru and Alka Yagnik. Her success continued in 2014 when she participated in Zee TV’s ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs’, where she finished as the third runner-up.
Arunita's influence grew as she competed in various prestigious singing competitions. Notably, she was among the top five contenders in ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs’, mentored by the famous singer Monali Thakur, and earned the title of ‘Manch Ka Guroor’.
Arunita Kanjilal's ultimate goal is to break into the Bollywood film industry as a playback singer. Her melodious voice and compelling stage presence made her a social media sensation, and an ideal choice for performing at live events.
