About
Ghazal Alagh is a corporate trainer turned artist and a mompreneur and one of the judges on Shark Tank India 2021. She is one of the leading women entrepreneurs in India who started her career at NIIT Chandigarh to now being on the coveted Business World ‘40 Under 40 list’.
She works closely with a large number of mothers to develop a product line that addresses problems that moms face on a daily basis.
Ghazal co- founded Mamaearth along with her husband Varun Alagh with the view to provide toxin-free natural baby care and skin care products, after not being able to find toxin-free skin care products in India for her son who was allergic.
Before co-founding Mamaearth, Ghazal had founded Diet Expert which was not successful . She was also a corporate trainer at NIIT Limited and has trained managers and engineers from various IT companies.

She was featured on the list of ‘40 under 40 Achievers’ by Business World in 2019. She has received the award for ‘Best Brand of the Year’ in 2019 for Mamaearth and ‘Super Start-Ups Asia Award’, 2019.
Besides being a successful entrepreneur and devoted mother, Ghazal has been recognized amongst top 10 women artists in India, nationally and internationally.
