Mamta Sharma, a Bollywood playback singer, is best known for her catchy & peppy music. Before singing for Bollywood, she lent her voice to many Bhojpuri albums. She was spotted by music director Lalit Pandit who gave her first break in the super hit movie, ‘Dabangg’, with the item song, ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’.
The song was a chartbuster & won her several awards & nominations, including the Filmfare & IIFA Award for ‘Best Playback Singer’. She also received the ‘Journalist National Award’ for ‘Best Debut Singer’.
