Young & dynamic, Nikita Gandhi kick-started her career with the hit 'Ladio' from AR Rahman's music album in 2014. A former student of AR Rahman's K.M. College of Music & Technology, Nikita's other hits include 'Ullu Ka Patha' from ‘Jagga Jasoos’, 'WiFi' from Singam 3, 'Theera Ulla' from O Kadhal Kanmani, 'Tan Tan' from Chef & 'Sachin Sachin' from ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’.

Nikita has learnt Hindustani classical music and has the ability to effortlessly switch between traditional Indian singing and western pop styles.

Since then she has given hits like 'Mujhe Chand Pe Le Chalo' from Sanju, 'Raabta' - title track from Raabta, 'Ghar' from Jab Harry Met Sejal for which she received Filmfare & Mirchi Music Award nomination for ‘Best Playback Singer’.

She did playback for the hit song ‘Qaafirana’ from‘Kedarnath’ and won the ‘Sony Mix Audience Music Award’ for the ‘Best Duet’ award too.

Fluent in languages like Tamil, Bengali, Telugu & Hindi, Nikita is a trained Hindustani classical singer who released her debut Bengali album titled ‘Kotha’ in 2012.

She is the lead vocalist for a 5-member band ‘Noor’ and performs regularly at concerts and music festivals.

Nikita turned to music composition for the Netflix Original Series ‘Mismatched’. Her song ‘Tabdeeli’ has been a fan favorite ever since it was released in 2020.

She has also collaborated with singers like Rajiv Dhall for their song ‘Insecure’ in 2020 and started the year on a high note by collaborating with international R&B and soul singer Pink Sweats, for the remix, ‘At My Worst.’

This multilingual singer can effortlessly shift between various genres and entertain audiences with her mellifluous voice.
