An IIM-Calcutta graduate, Arun Malhotra has been a part of the automobile industry for over the last three decades. He is well-known for his immense contribution towards the Indian auto industry having worked with Bajaj Auto, Maruti Suzuki and many more companies. His last corporate assignment was as MD for Nissan Motors India from 2014 to 2018.
Arun Malhotra has been deeply involved in areas of brand building, strategic marketing, retail network expansion, training, rural marketing, customer-centric initiatives and formulating group-level strategies.
He has also attended executive management programs in Kellogs School of Management, Chicago and Harvard Business School, Boston. He is a professor of Practice in IIT Roorkee and visiting faculty in IIM Kolkata.
He is presently the strategic consultant and advisor in the auto domain and independent director on the board of reputed companies.
Arun Malhotra is a regular speaker and panelist for prominent TV channels like CNBC, NDTV, ET Now, Zee and Sansad TV and is also a key speaker in marketing and sales conferences in companies across different industries.

Arun has served as an executive council member of SIAM, the apex body of the auto industry and was the chairman of Auto Expo 2018 held in Delhi.
He has successfully led many new product launches in the auto industry.
